The Mediterranean is not only a geographical place: it is a cultural bazaar of impressions and expressions; it’s a mosaic of meetings, exchanges and contamination. It’s a dynamic place, where we have not only transported goods, but also myths, beliefs and knowledge, with continuous cultural renewal.
For that, the Mediterranean is an inexhaustible source of inspirations: the markets swarm, melodies resonate in the medinas, each spicy flavour tells stories of different peoples. In this bazaar, the differences are not barriers but opportunities for dialogue and mutual respect. <DEE MEDITERRANEE> wants to celebrate this wealth, by transforming it into living and accessible narratives to all, because each impression must be shared and each voice can find their echo in the “Mare Nostrum”. By this consciousness, “Idee Mediterranee” project arises as an ambitious and passionate project, which recounts and disseminates the culture of the Mediterranean countries, with different languages and instruments.
